It gathers plenty of Tokyo-grown vegetables, fruits, and livestock products from the Hachioji area.

Highlights

  • Route 411 (Ome Kaido): A flowing road with few traffic lights, easy and comfortable even for beginners, with refreshing views along Lake Okutama.
  • Lake Okutama (Ogouchi Dam): The turnaround scenic point where you can rest while taking in the lake.
  • Michi-no-Eki Tabayama: Famous for game-meat gourmet such as the signature venison burger from Tabayama Village.
  • Michi-no-Eki Kosuge: Popular for stone-oven pizza and the local 'cha-chan manju' steamed buns, plus mountain and river delicacies.

Riding Tips

Mornings can be slow with truck traffic, so an early start is recommended. The mountains get cooler, so bring an extra layer and ride at a relaxed, comfortable pace.
